throttle body vacuum ports i have a engine light one for either a bad MAF or a vacuum leak so i checked for leaks first and i saw a port on my throttle body that looks like it a rubber hose should be hooked up to it...so i covered it and drove around it seemed fine then, the next morning it ran horrible until i uncovered the port...
it is on driver side of TB on the bottom....anyone know what this is or know what it should be hooked up to?

Sounds like your canister purge valve solinod.....look along the drivers side where the intake and valve cover meet. There should be a plug and vacuum switch that has a hose running to that port on tb
