Default LS1 EGR and AIR system

doing an LT1 to LQ4 swap.

98-00 LS1 did have EGR and AIR Systems. am i right?
01-02 LS1 only had AIR system no EGR. am i right?
By that said if I get a 2001-02 PCM and Wire Harness I don’t need to worry about the EGR system.
Only get the AIR Tubes for the Manifolds.

Since I wont need the EGR tube to go to the ls1 intake. All I need to do is put an EGR block plate?

You are correct on you assumptions.. or get a LS6 intake or early LS1 inake from a Corvette, these would not have the EGR port.

You most likely could delete the EGR Function out of a earlier LS1 PCM (do not go to a 97-98 PCM) and removed the wiring/connectors from the Harness.

i will go with the LS1 intake temporarily. just wana get it running.
since il be getting the 2001-02 wire harness and pcm.

what im trying to get at is since the EGR wont exist on that setup.
i should pass emissions simply for the reason that the setup would be from 01-02 pcm.

am i right?
