I want to do a top end upgrade. Just arranged a set of LQ4 heads to be ported but parts for it are limited.

I was thinking of upgrading the valves but LQ4 parts are hard to come by would LS1 parts work if anyone knows? I would like to upgrade the to Roller rockers too while am at it maybe a mild cam.

I'm looking to free up some HP on a late model 2500HD 6.0L, nothing to extreme...what do you guys think?

Yes, everything is interchangeable.

A simple search would have got you that answer.

A set of ported and milled 243, or 5.3 heads would give you a nice little bump in power

I was looking at a 5.3 out of a 01 Silverado. It has aluminum heads on it. Is this a good motor? And can I use my 700R4 trans?
