Default Best stroker kit for my heads/cam setup?

Hey guys-

I'm thinking about getting into the next step on my current car.. I'd love to throw a super charger on it, but at the rate I drive the thing, I can't justify the expense..

So, I'm thinking about throwing something at the bottom end and thought I'd see if you guys had any suggestions..

My current setup:

Fast Toys Ram Air
LS1 Motorsports Lid
Ported TB
LS6 Intake
PowerBond UD Pulley
TR224 112LSA Cam
Texas Speed Stage 2.5 5.3L heads
XS Stainless Long Tubes..
Off Road Y
GMMG exhaust
Vigilante 3200 stall
Stock GM 3.42 rear end

Anyone have any suggestions?

What block and year is it? The ls1/6 block can't be bored, just a light hone....now if its an iron block, then yes you can bore it out.

Your LS1 has an aluminum block with cylinder liners. It can't be bored out .030" like the cast iron blocks. Usually if the bore is freshened up the machine shop hones it out to 3.905" which is about the safe max (stock bore is 3.898").

The rest of what you plan to do looks fine. The 224 cam is a little small, might look into the 228 cam. Make sure you get better valve springs and pushrods. Don't forget to budget for a tune.

The rest is how the car sits now.. I've got all that done..

Looking for the a little more.. Looks like it's a blower/turbo, stroker or juice...
