I have a xer281hr cam in my iron 4.8 with beehive springs ,862 heads, stock springs, stock push rods ls6 intake ,30# injectors.tuned but needs a retune.drives fine but slow mainly because of the weak v6 rear end and stock exhaust. Question is ,is this big cam ok to turbo or better to just do nitrous .my goal is close to 500HP

I have that cam in an ls1...don't think you have enough cubes or the heads for it NA, but seeing how it is a split pattern biased toward the exhaust, it would def benefit from some spray but would work with turbo also...
