Hi, can i use 2004 lq4 pistons in an 2005 ls2 6.0 do they have the same profile wrist pins ect, thanks.

any ideas? trying to put this back together on a budget with lq4 stuff, thanks.

Answer is maybe, LS2 were flat top pistons wth floating pins. Most 2004 LQ4 pistons are pressed pin and will not work wth your LS2 rods. I believe some late 2004 LQ4 got floating pins, but all LQ4 were dished and will lower compression about .7 compared to LS2.
