You can port You're oil pump and shim the pressure relief valve spring and be just as good as the LS6 ported oil pump ,,,,,,or You can get a brand new Melling 295 for $60 at Amazon ,,,,,,,,,all factory GM LS oil pumps experience pressure drop above 6500rpm's .
