Default Anyone want to rent me a Cam degree'ing kit?

Planning on doing a cam swap in about a week or two and dont want to fork out the money for a one time use. If anyone is willing to ship their keit to me I would of course cover paypal fees, and give some $ for the trouble.

PM me if interested.

Thanks

just fyi, the tools are not very expensive. I got my kit new on Jegs for $70, included a 9" degree wheel, 1" travel dial indicator, and magnetic boom stand for the dial. I also re-used an old pushrod, modified an old lifter to make it solid, and used a piece of bare copper wire for the wheel pointer. hope this helps.

i feel where he's coming from, it sucks to spend an extra 70 bucks on something you're gonna use once

Yeah I just hate spending money on tools I'm gonna use once including pushrod length checker etc.

I googled cam degree wheel (i used the one from chevytalk forums, lots of info on it, and it's colored for easy reading) and printed one off on a regular printer, took it to a Fedex/Kinkos, told them how large i wanted it. Cost me $1.60 for a 15" wheel and mounted it to some sturdy cardboard. Used a Harbor Freight dial indicator which was $30, i think, with the vise grip "stand" that i had bought a while back. Cut up an old metal wire clothes hanger for the pointer. Quick and easy, dirt cheap and bigger than the kits you can buy online!

Wow that's a pretty good idea printing it off, I just wonder if it was still as accurate. I guess 360 degrees Is 360 degrees though

Assuming the original picture was made correctly, printing/resizing should have no effect on accuracy
