Stock 862s or stock 241s on turbo 5.3
So i been reading a few threads on this, but i would like a few more opinions, hopefully from someone running this setup, i got a stock 5.3 that im gonna turbo and i would like to know if there's any advantage from running the 241 heads over the 862? I know the intake valves are bigger on the 241s and they will lower compression a bit, but im trying to figure out what will be better for my build, im planning on running stock bottom end ls6 cam, and about 15 psi, also its gonna be in a 6spd car

Keep the stock 862. Get studs and ls9 gaskets. Nothing wrong with stock heads if there's no damage. Stock compression is 9.4:1. The ls9 gaskets will slightly lower even more. Also may want to think about milling the heads just slightly to get a true flat surface. .003-.005 usually is enough
