Hello I had put 20w50 in my ls1before and it was noisy and running hard. So I changed back to 10w30 and now its back to normal and whisper quiet. I am here in middle east and here we have a warm winter so no one carries 5w30. But 10w30 is readily available. I put 5 bottles of oil as the owners manual said and now its all good. Thanks

10w-30 and 5w-30 are exactly the same oil once they get up to operating temperature. Save the 20w-50 for the old school engines.
