Default White smoke from exhaust

I just filled at a gas station and soon after I got loss of power and whit smoke from exhaust. I got worried it was HG but I checked oil and coolant and they were clean. The smoke cam for a while then it dissapeared. Then I heard in the news there was bad gas (water mixed) being sold in the area. How can I completely remove the bad gas? Now there is no more white smoke.

Drain some out and let it sit in a glass container , when it settles the water and gas will separate
