Default IRON BLOCK - GEN III vs GEN IV ?

Forgive a dumb question . . .

What are the differences between the Gen III cast iron block vs. the Gen IV cast iron block ?

Sensor locations mainly. Some might say the gen 4 blocks have thicker cylinder walls, but I haven't seen anything backing that up.

That's interesting about the cylinder wall thickness . . . Anyone have more information ?
