gen iv in a 99 TA I know this might be the worng forum but what shortblock is better a 99 ls1 with 152xxx miles or a 08 5.3 with 30k. I will be using the same exhaust and intake. just talking longblock and how hard is it wire in the new gen sensors in a 99 ta or do I need to swap ecm's also

THe reason I ask Is my ta has 151xxx miles and I have to redo most of the seals on it becuase of oil leaks and Ihave the 5.3 sitting in the corner of my shop and I was wondering which one has more power. both short blocks are stock I have a ls6 intake and headers
