Default Timing Chain

Getting a new H/C combo and my budget is going to be tight. Was curious if I could skimp out on not getting the ls2 timing chain for a bit.

To risk the whole engine to save $40 would be foolish.
Do it right and you won't have to worry about it.

Depends on mileage and how much wear is on the old chain.
