Default Need some valve train advice

I'm about to freshen up my top end with new rocker arms, pushrods, lifters, and springs. I would love if some of y'all could give me some recommendations. I already have brand new ls7 lifters in the box and ls6 yellow springs. The car is an 02' T/A stock bottom end with a gm hotcam. I also have brand new timing chain kit and SLP oil pump, should I or shouldn't I install them as well? Thanks in advance this site is a lifesaver sometimes. Most importantly idk what size pushrods do I need?

you can install comp cam trunnion bearings in you stock GM rockers.the stock push rods should be ok ,but consider some harden 7.4 push rods from Texas speed.install every thing you bought ,you should have bought a ASA cam .consider a mail order tune from Frost for more power.look at a ported TB.

I've got a tuner already. He's already street tuned my car and I love it. So I'll definitely use him again. The hotcam was already in the car when I bought it. So the stock pushrods are 7.4"? I was thinking about Comp Cams aluminum ultra gold or Harland Sharp rocker arms. Would the trunnion bearing upgrade be better or just more economical?

So much cheaper going with the trunion upgrade over the aftermarket rockers. They work just fine and are used in many high dollar builds.

Definitely swap out the stock pushrods for some aftermarket hardened. 3 of my stock PR's were bent. This was when my car was stock everything, minus full bolt ons. You'd be surprised just how flimsy they really are.
