Default rattling after ran low on oil

Thought i fixed my oil leak but discovered it was still leaking and was a little less than 3 qts low of oil. Now when under a certain amount of throttle, say maintaining speed while going up a mountain, there is a rattle in the engine. It goes away with more or less throttle. Any ideas?

Does your oil pressure gauge go up when you throttle or just stay the same? And is the gauge needle shakey at all? And when you check these make sure the engine and oil are plenty warm. At least 20 to 30 minutes after start up.

Sometimes failing bearings take a little time to show their ugly face

Sounds like pinging dude. I get it up hill sometimes, also my car has a big cam and the converter locks up at like 40 mph so if I give it alot of throttle it doesn't go anywhere fast and can ping. In either state, less throttle and itll go away.
