Default After going catless, rough idle.

Hey guys,I have a ls1 Trans am, about a week ago I gutted my cats since in the future I was getting my long tubes and a new y pipe. But after they were gutted it started running rough at idle and shaking. The exhaust is slp cat back and then the gutted cats on stock mani's. any help would be much appreciated. I'm thinking maybe one of the 02 sensors fouled out or got un hooked or maybe an exhaust leak. Would that cause it to idle bad? Thanks guys

I'd suggest a data log, and take a look. W/o some scan data, it's just a guessing game...

Unhooked? How about checking that. while U R under there, make sure you don't have the harness crossed up.

Any codes?

You're going to have to scan and share the log for anyone to really help you here.

something tells me the o2's after the cat is to blame. i'd run it down to auto zone or some place that will hook up a computer to it and see if you get the rear o2 code. when i did my LTs and cut off my cats it ran like a little bitch until i got the car tuned. that being siad it could just be as simple as changing the o2's

The rear o2's should have no affect on driveability. They are used simply for catalyst monitoring.
