Default Overheated motor, where do LS motors tend to crack when overheated

Popped a headgasket last week, didn't know fans weren't working and when I noticed steam coming out the hood, temp was maxed out, definitely blown headgasket, radiator hoses collapse when idling, got the afr heads off and sent to get checked, I've rotated the crank to check cylinder walls for cracks, besides decking the block with a straight edge is there any known problem areas that I should look closely at, using arp head studs and I've removed them and checked the threads to make sure threads didn't get pulled out,

If it cooled naturally, should be ok...generally. If add ambient temp water or cooler while the engine was overheated, could crack anywhere, usually a piston top cracks before the block, IME. Use copper spray on gaskets when re-assemble.
