Just rebuilt my 5.3 and I got everything ready to go. I turned the key and the motor just turned over and over. Didn't really get to check it out further battery died and got dark so I had to come home! Any ideas

Start simple.
Are you getting spark and fuel?

I checked everything. I ended up pouring fuel in the tb and it started but I found the problem. I didn't have the the little hose that goes to from the intake to the fuel rail on. I guess that's to pull fuel up to the fuel rails

Yea I just poured like a quart of fuel in the tank. Just see if I could get it to start. But my next concern is the reduced engine light
