Default volant cold air intake trans am

i did some reserch on here but didnt find what i was looking for i have a 1999 trans am with a vfn fiberglass WS9 outlaw hood and i would like to buy the volant cold air intake anyone know if this will work with my set up? here is the air intake i want part #15958C3 http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...air-induction/

I know the Vfn hood is similar to the factory ws6 hood anyone have a ws6 with the volant cold air intakes?

I thought about going with the Volant until I read a report from a guy who said his underhood temps got to the point where things were melting due to the volant blocking all the air coming in from the nostrils. Not sure if that is even possible or not but I ended up going with an SLP lid and am going to get a chrs1313 ram air as in the end that combo should make more power than the Volant.

Nice choice on the CHRS1313 setup.
