It still makes me wonder why my valve train was so RIDICULOUSLY quiet when I ran Castrol Edge w/ Titanium 10w30. Maybe that oil really IS good.

Even with the Valvoline VR1 it's still not as quiet as it was with the Edge.

The Edge is almost as good PSI rating. Switch back to it.

"Classic Car Motor Oil" is recommended by a few engine builders on this very forum. I called the guys up, and they're very nice and informative. I bought a case, so we'll see how it performs.

Sorry dude, my BS meter pegged when I got to the ceramic part. Have somebody explain to you the difference between metals and ceramics and you'll understand why.

Why don't you do a little research yourself on what compositions the term "ceremic" encompasess instead of being condescending. I'll save a little time and grant that although ceramics are nonmetallic they are still made of a metal and a non-metal....zinc oxide, copper oxide, etc. Guess what ZDDP is derived from? Yes I was lazy and said "zinc" not ZDDP when referring to what it does. Sorry, I guess it's considered more of a glass. You busted me good. If you could explain to everyone chemically/structurally how ZDDP works and what it does it would certainly be more beneficial to everyone than speaking in a tone like that to someone you don't know. You don't have to make the reply snide or sarcastic either...you can make it as if we were both having a conversation face to face and I promise it'll feel as good or better and people will still get something out of it. I don't know why this forum brings that quality out in people....that's not true, I'm an ******* myself a lot of times and it really does feel good temporarily but only when it's deserved, not doing it "just because" which seems to be the case most often here.
