Had the stock 2.00" valves laying around from another LS head so I figured I'd have these 5.3's done for my little carb build I'm doing. I think I probably could have bought a used set for a better deal now but oh well. Paid $600 after tax for mild port work, full valve grind, open intake throat, valve seals, mill .030"and assemble with LS3 blue springs (I provided). Maybe not a great deal but we'll see how they perform... The spots that look like cast still are pretty smooth.
