Default How much can lm7 rev?

Hi

Im swapping in an lm7 in car and wonder how much would be ok to rev it?

Im change the cam but don't know yet to what. I will also use Comp Dual 675 spring/Comp Pushrods.

I have only worked with straight 6 before.

Would 6500 rpm be to much?

Heck no...swap out the rod bolts and spin to 7000rpm, tons of guys doing it, even on stock rod bolts...depends on the year of the motor you might have the newer design rod bolts, but aftermarket ones will be superior to any stock rod bolt...only thing is you have to get the rods resized to use the aftermarket ones
