Default O2 sensors doubts, need help, please.

Hi everyone, I´m doing an engine swap to my third gen camaro, I´m mounting a Ls1 from a 98 z28, but I have a problema with the O2 sensors, I want to know if is posible to jump or cancel the sensors that are after the catalitic converter, and if I do that it won´t affect the power or the function of the engine, thanks for all.

You have 2 options, Option 1 and not the recommended choice is to run some type of o2 sensor simulator which send the PCM the signal that the o2 is functioning properly but in reality its not there. Option 2 and by far the more popular and recommended choice is to have them tuned out with some sort of suite, whether its HP tuners or EFILive it should be done this way.

You can get simulators for the rears, but they are only there to monitor the efficiency of your cats. It will make no difference whether you use a sim or delete the dtc for them.

Well I have seen that some o2 sims don't send that clean of a signal to the pcm in some cases, which is why I prefer to tune them out all together.
