Default arp head bolts/cometic gaskets

I read somewhere that when using cometic head gaskets and arp head bolts to increase arps torque specs by 10 ft/lbs. Is there anything to this? This is for an iron block.

ARP head bolts torque to 75 lbs. on the long bolts and 25 lbs. for the short bolts using the ARP lube. I don't see where those tightening specs are any kind of up grade over stock GM torque to yield bolts. I've been using those bolts and Cometic head gaskets (.040) for the past ten years without problems. The good thing about the ARP bolts is that they are reusable. Either one will do the job properly.
