Default Getting ready to do heads/cam swap..

I am going to attempt to start my head cam swap over the weekend, and want to make sure I have most everything as far as parts go. Obviously have the heads and cam.

GM MLS Gaskets
Water pump gaskets
Timing Cover gasket
Timing damper seal
ARP Head bolts
Lifter trays
Lifters
LS2 Timing Chain
LS6 Oil Pump
Underdrive pulley/belts & bolt.
Injectors

I passed on pushrods for now as I already have 7.400" hardened ones, and want to measure first anyways. Also plan on picking up the ARP thread chasers and a degree kit from Summit this weekend. Outside of fluids, did I miss anything Ill be needing?

Heads are AI 226cc 243 castings and the cam is BTR 235/242 stage 4 camshaft if anyone was curious. I don't feel like waiting winter out with all of these items sitting here.

You should really do the trunion upgrade on the rockers while you are at it. And if you have an LS1 it wouldn't be a bad idea to convert to the 04+ LS6 valley cover as it will help with the horrid stock PCV system the LS1 has and clean up the engine bay some.

Gasket maker for the intake rocker bolts cause more than likely AI broke through the intake wall (which is pretty standard). I also second the trunion upgrade or just step up to rollers.

Moosifer, thanks for the tip on the intake rocker bolts, definitely wouldn't want to pull that apart again if it was to be a problem. I already have the trunion upgrade, just have to press them in. ARP Chasers, pushrod checker & redline assembly lube will be here today. Have the heads off, just need a buddy to come over and help me get the radiator out. No luck trying to get it out on my own with the A/C condenser tabs. Car has 61k miles on it, sticking with the stock wires, will get new plugs, stock AC Delco ones good to with on a heads/cam car? Have to look into that.

Everything went fairly smoothly, just some minor cuts. Cylinders all look great, pistons look great, everything is real clean. Trying to get this all done before the snow flies.
