Default 347ci texas-speed rotating assembly

Hi
merry Christmas to you all

I have one question about 347 forged :
Weisco pistons
compstar rods
callies compstar cranck

The rotating assembly balanced
by texas-speed

I get the order but I didn't see any match numbers between rods & pistons
Should I install any piston with any rod in any room
or what ???

Thanx alot

I know when i've had rotating assemblies balanced, rods are mounted on the pistons and each piston was marked as to which cylinder it was balanced to. That doesn't seem right to me what they did. Are you supposed to guess? Yikes, i thought about ordering a rotating kit from them, not if that's how they do things.

I wouldn't install any of that if it were me until they can verify if they even balanced it or not.

A quality set of pistons usually all weigh the same (within 1-2 grams)
The rods are most likely the same on rotating and reciprocating ends also.
So what if the puzzle pieces are not numbered. Shops usually only number
the pistons when specifically honing cylinders to the exact piston size. IIWY
I'd ask TSP if they pin fit the pistons/rods. If not then have a local shop do
them up quick. They should be sized from .0004" out to .0008" before being
put together. Lastly make sure the bearing notch side of the rods face the
oil pan skirt side of the block.
