cracked heads?

Cracked 243 heads or some crap find its way in from the outside over time? I do know my intake foam pads still have the ls1 imprints from the old ls1 pcv which do lead a direct path to that port. Im replacing my pads and intake gaskets now. Just curious if coolant could cause this instead. My other ports are clean.
