Default Help Me Please!!!

Hello All,

I am new to the whole LS swap and need your expert help desperately. I’m restoring a 1969 convertible Firebird with a weak 305 & 4 speed trans. Was thinking of a 350/350HP create motor from Summit. But was watching various car shows and all are recommending the LS1 swap due to increased HP and gas mileage. I very nervous about this due to the crazy wiring, sensors, conversions etc needed to make it work. Are there any videos, books or web sites that detail step by step what is needed wire & conversions need to make this successful? Is is a pain in the $%@$@ to accomplish? Is it worth it? Many people say it is overrated and cost too much with little with little increase over the legacy 350. Please help.

Thanks.

Go to the conversion/hybrid section and do a search. There is a lot of people that have done your car with a ls motor. Search for Camaro swaps in year range because there is more Camaro swaps then firebirds.
