Milled heads with LS6 intake?
This may seem like a far fetched question but I think it's a valid one >>>
I'm getting my heads milled .030 to go with the new cam etc... and was wondering... do I need to do anything (i.e. milling) to my new LS6 intake to "allow" it to fit properly to (between) the heads?

Okay that's good to know.
Can you see me reasons for wondering though? as far as proper seating, and alignment (especially of the ports).
Thank you!

my heads are milled .055 - LS6 intake manifold is stock....
Sometimes you need to grind off a tad bit of plastic from the alignment pegs (depth and diameter) to ensure that the manifold bolts can get a grip on the heads....
Most do not need it, however. If your bolts don't go right in by hand turning them, grind off some material from the pegs...
GO SLOW AND DONT FORCE ANYTHING!!!!!
