I am looking at a set of roller rockers and i am trying to decide on the 1.7s or the 1.8s. I have a set of PP stg 2 LS6 heads with the PP springs that came with them. (im not sure what max lift is on those i have heard .650) and a MTI R1 cam (232 236 .578 .578) and i am curious if i will have problems with 1.8s? if i figure correctly it will put my lift to right at .595 (assuming that the .578 is with stock 1.7s) Will i have problems with my springs with this amout of lift?? Also when would i start running into PTV clearance issues?? I am running flattops with 2cc dish and the GM MLS gaskets and the heads (to my knolege) havent been milled. thanks guys

not worth it. for the price of the rockers you can have a new cam ground to the specs w/ the 1.8's :shrug:

your R1 with the 1.8's will be ~ 233-234 / 237-238 .612/.612 with a bit more overlap.

from what i have seen the 1.8s arnt much more than the 1.7s i will be buying anyway and thats why i am even concidering them.

Most cam lobes are too aggressive to run 1.8's most sponsors recomend (sp) not using them

Ditto. 1.8's are not recommended for any lift over 0.550.
