yeah.. i think i may have bent one....
or blown a header gasket. will find out tomorrow or thurs.
what/where can I get em?
i have the c1 hammer cam, gtp stage 2 heads. cam is 566 lift, 222 duration, 112 centerline.
hopefully blown header gasket. My theory..:
valve cover on drivers side leakin, got header gasket wet while sittin, started it up, drove it maybe 5 mins (not enough time to dry off gasket) then hammed on it from a 10 mph roll to about 120 ish mph givin a girl a ride.
now while cruisin, u cant hear anything. but when u give it a lil gas, u can hear some tappin noise.
any info would be appreciated
oh.. supposedly it already has chrome molley pushrods, but I gotta take em out to see. hopefully i wont need to!

Unless you wrapped a shift or seriously revved the **** out of stock components, I can't see what would have happened to cause a bent pushrod? Are you sure it's not knock? Do you have a tank of bad gas? What's you CR? Usually, a bent pushrod makes noise all the time, not necessarily under load...although they could.

rev limiter is at 7k. i shift at about 6600 or so.
stock compression. tank of gas is fine.
i'm HOPIN its just the headergasket... thats a relatively easy swap since it sounds like its comin from the drivers side.
i have the same cam you do. but I got gtp stage 2 heads vs your mti stage 2e heads.
