Default Buddy needs HELP! Metal in oil pan

I just got a call from my buddy and he told me he pulled is oil pan off and found metal in his oil pan. Can anyone identify whats in the oil pan? I was thinking valve seal and spring

He pulled the passenger side valve cover and I guess he has a couple broken valve springs. What all should he check for damage? Could it have bent a valve?

Cylinders that had the broken springs etc, look for damaged valves, pushrods, pistons.

Run a quart of Marvel Oil thru it, should be fine.
