Gasket set and head gaskets for 853 heads? Im finally putting my ls1 back together. I need to find all gaskets for it. I was told there is a special MLS gasket for the 853 heads, does anyone have a part number for those?
I also need every other gasket as well. Is it more cost effective to buy a kit or to piece it all together? Thanks guys

Fel pro 1141 has the relief for the notch allowing you to use the MLS gaskets with notched heads. I ran them leak free until I just tore them down this week for upgrades

Did a little more digging,...the head gaskets that I was going to order are the wrong ones... for notched heads I need these...http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FEL-1041/
you can see the on the gasket how the seal does not go to the edge where the F'n notch lives...lol,... and wow, what a price difference.....
I will hang the set I'm taking off for my 2000 Z28, its got 170+ miles on it and will prob need the gaskets replaced soon......
