How about TR220 with these heads?
Hi fellas,
Anyone out there running with this combo - TR220 114 LSA cam with Patriot Performance Stage II 5.7L heads?
I just had the cam installed and now I'm doing some research on compatible heads. I have to ask about these PP 5.7L heads because of the great price over at Texas Speed ($999). I have a 98 so I will want to stay with the perimeter bolt pattern. I will also be sticking with this cam for emission reasons (California).
Any input or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian

I ran a TR220 with patriot stage II 5.3's on my car about a year ago. It made 416rwhp and 392rwtq on the stock tune with only headers, and a cutout. I didn't have an asp pulley, electric WP, or YT rockers at the time. I think that's make a great setup for daily driving. Add some headers, bolt ons, and a good tune.. you'll have over 400rwhp and a stock idle.
