Default Oil pan leaking in the rear

Hey guys,
So let me give a recap of what I did. I just finished a head, cam, intake swap into my 2002 trans am. I started it, ran it for 10 minutes and all was good. After I was doing some logging and realized that I needed an WBO2 sensor I began to install one but noticed there was a leak by the rear of my oil pan coming down from the oil filter and along where the bellhousing meets the oil pan. When I did the head cam intake install, I also did a oil pump install and had to drop the oil pan completely to make sure it lined up good. If my memory serves me right I installed the front cover first, but torque the harmonic balancer first, torqued the front cover and then worked my way into the oil pan. I then got everything snug, put the tranny bolts into the oil pan, torqued the oil pan, and then torqued the two bolts of the tranny. I put RTV sealer on the front of the pan and I haven't had any leaks from the front, but what do I have to do to fix the oil pan leaking from the rear as I did not put any RTV on the rear? I do not want to replace the whole oil pan gasket, but I will do what I have to do because it is a 6 speed and I dont want to destroy the clutch. Is it possible that it is residual oil from the head cam install?

You probably need some rtv in the back corners were the rear cover meets the pan just like the front.

Pan gasket is cheap. At 14 years old I'd replace it.

Yeah. It's a pain to do it, and who the **** rivets the oil pan gaskets to the oil pan??? Oh yeah GM does.

Consider doing a tubular K while you're in there anyway. Then the next time you drop the pan it's painless.

Do you guys think I should try the rtv method first and if that doesnt work I should replace the gasket? Also where should I put the rtv on the rear?

I tried dropping the pan to RTV it, and it stopped leaking all the way until I started the car and drove it.

Put RTV right where the rear cover gaps are at where they meet the block.
