Default O-Ringing Block or Heads

What are the pros of doing this. Im building a 408, and have all the good ****. Going to spray like a 200 maybe at the max a 250.. Is there any reason why I should get this done? If I do is it going to cause any other problems, the car is going to be driven about 50-100 miles a week.

I bought a set of heads that were o-ringed. Thought it was a good idea at the time. Now their just big paper-weights. IMO don't do it.

If you're staying with a max of 250, then I wouldn't worry about it.
