If your not wanting to go to radical something like the TSP 231/237 cam would work pretty good along with the Patriot Gold springs(<---None better right now IMO). You will want a set of hardened pushrods and should probably look at a set of aftermarket rockers, I say this because the factory ones have a tendency to randomly spill their needle bearings. While your doing the cam you may as well replace the oil pump with a ported ls6 one and replace the timing chain with a rollmaster double roller, these are known to go out on the 98/99 cars. Good luck.

i was thinknn bout doing a cam. but it seems stupid to just do a cam since the motor is going to be a part i should throw some heads on. not looking for crazy power but would like to put a little more kick into the car.
could i get a little but more outta of doing just heads...?
