Default Oil pressure gauge stuck at 80 psi

On my 02 TA the oil pressure gauge is stuck at 80 psi. When I did my heads and cam the stock sending unit got broken. So I bought a new one from O'Reilly's, but it was not reading correctly. So I double check it with a mechanical gauge. Then I went to gm and bought another sending unit.

When I ran the mechanical gauge I just left the wiring harness for the sending unit unplugged and the gauge pegged 80 psi but I will not move now. You can tap on the dash and the needle moves just a tiny bit.

Stock sending unit.
Cold idle 45 psi
Hot idle 30 psi
2000 Rpm 40 psi
4000 Rpm 65 psi
6000 Rpm 75 psi
O'Reilly's sending unit
Cold idle 20 psi
Hot idle 15 psi
2000 Rpm 20 psi

Mechanical gauge
Cold idle 40 psi
Hot idle 35 psi
2000 Rpm 45 psi
4000 rpm 55 psi
6000 Rpm 60 psi

With the new gm sending unit
80psi all the time
