Stock pushrods 7.38" or 7.4"?
I've heard from a number of sources that the stock pushrods are actually 7.38" instead of 7.4". Which is it?
If the stock pushrod length is actually 7.38" then the 7.4" replacement pushrods would actually come in handy when installing a cam with a slightly smaller base circle diameter, giving a more accurate lifter preload, and lessening the all-too-common 'sewing machine' phenomenon. But it would be good to know the truth once and for all.

The stockers are 7.380" like Jason said. But usually when you go to a larger cam it has a slightly smaller base circle so a 7.400" pushrod is used to make up the difference. If your heads are milled a bunch like the 5.3's, then you'll need shorter pushrods (usually 7.350" work fine).
