Default ls6 cam stamping number

i was thinking on buying an ls6 cam and sell my F1 cam, i remember hearing that there is a stamping number on the end of the cam that will tell of its an ls6 cam or not, does anyone know the numbers or numbers? BTW the cam is an 02, and if i used comp 918's on the ls6 cam how often would i have to change them if ever?

The last 4 digits of the GM part number are stamped on the cam. 918's should last forever with that cam.
