Default 383 harmonic balancer
Would the harmonic balancer 5.7ls fit on 383ls or is the crank diameter different

The snout diameter is the same. Just be sure to leave the front keyway out if the damper isn't designed for it.

Well am having a hell of a time trying to bolt it on and no matter what I try it won't slip on.
No Key on the crank that's right
