Default pushrod

I was wondering how easy is it to change a bent pushrod? Do you just have to take off the valve covers? Also how much is a set of pushrods?
Thanks

well to change a pushrod is pretty easy, pull the coil pack, pull the valve cover, then pull the rocker arms, shouldnt take more than 45 minutes total,i currently have the Chromoly Pushrods from thunder racing in my car and i havent bent one yet, i have went through a box of stock ones though

Alright thanks.........I dont know if I have a bent one but my engine is a lot louder than my friends 00 formula. It sounds like it is coming from the valve train..

Do you hear a ticking from the engine?

I just had to replace my pushrods... had one severely bent and a couple others that had started to bend... replace stock with Chromoly.

you just have to remember to torque the rockers to 22lbs, rotate the engine, and torque them again. its really easy to change pushrods, but it will prolly take you an hour and a half, not 45 minutes
