Default 5.3 truck heads ?

How do they flow compared to stock LS1 would there be anygain slappin them on with out a port job ?

No...All that slapping them on would do is raise compression, and likely some improved low-end torque/throttle response. The small intake valve and shrouded chamber offered in stock form also hurt flow considerably. The secret is in modifying the intake seat and combustion chamber. Then the head is equal to (actually better if the chamber work is done properly) the 5.7 flow-wise with slightly better swirl characteristics.

But in the right hands (read as; properly ported), the flow numbers can be well above any other casting, meanwhile adding compression and swirl on the cheap. JMO
