Default Anyone running stage 3 LS1 heads on 4" bore or larger?

If so, how do they make your engine perform?

thats what most big bore motors run. you can get away with stg 2 on a stroker (under 400ci ), but all bore and super strokers run stg 3.

I was runninga so called JPR S2 LS6 head on my 427. Who knows what the heads really were though??? I am now going to be running Absolute Speed S3 LS6 heads with bigger valves on both sides. Jay cleaned up/refreshed/ported/polished JPRs old mess. I would have a better idea of how things are in a few weeks.

We have had a few Stg 2 heads that were on 408+ cu in engines, lets just say they did not break the 440 RWHP mark. Everything that has been in the 500+ RWHP range on motor has been a Stg 3 head.

Not to say that that isnt good advice, but I made 504 to the wheels with an A4 and S2 heads. I would still spend the money and go max effort.
