6.0 liter heads lower the compression to............................
On a stock LS1 the cr is 10.1:1, the stock LS1 heads are 64cc, so when you install ported 6.0 liter heads with 72 cc your compression becomes.........?
Some people say 9.8:1 some say 9.6:1 some say 9.4:1
Please help me I'm confused.

It was/is I have atleast one more than likely two cracked pistons or ring glands something along that line, I won't know for sure untill I take it apart. I'll PM you with the details of the pistons and rods I found. Advertising around here can get you in trouble LOL!

Yes, the 6 liter truck heads will lower the compression. Please check out the following link. These heads for sale were done for a boosted application. Very nice heads CNC'ed and hand finished by Brian Tooley at Total Engine Airflow.

Out of curiosity has anyone here actually CC'd their truck heads or just gone by what they read on the board? I just went through the process on one of my combustion chambers and it apeears to be 75cc's. *shrug*
