Default check engine light after rocker arms

Does anyone know why the engine light come on after I installed the slp 1.85 rocker arms, the code is p0300 (engine misfire) It seems to be running a little rougher, I checked the wires and coils and they seem ok. It seems it runs rougher at idle and alittle louder. Any help would be appreciated.

Most probable, with the increased ratio of the rocker arms you have in all practical purposes installed a larger camshaft and that within itself will cause P0300 random misfire without tuning to desenitive the stock parameters.

Did you check the preload when you put in the rocker arms?
