Default pushrods lenth for ls6 cam

What length of pushrods do I need for the 01 ls6 cam? I was under the impression the 01 ls6 cam has a smaller base circle and therefore it requires a different size pushrod. BTW, this cam is going on a 4.8

LS6 cam with LS1 heads you would need a .27" longer pushrod than stock. you can buy a set of Thunder Racing's 7.4" pushrods which are actually 7.415" so then you would only be .12" off perfect valvetrain geometry. The difference will be absorbed by the lifters.
Hope this helps.

I'm not sure that is correct for the 01 LS6 cam which he is using. I think the stock length will work fine with your cam. I've used stock length with the 02+ ls6 cams with no trouble.

Sorry didn't pay attention but the TR p-rods will fit nicely

2001 LS6 Cam: 204/211 .525/.525 Int CL:118, Exh CL:114 LSA:116 Cam Base Circle: 19.3mm

2002 LS6 Cam: 204/218 .551/.547 Int CL:120, Exh CL:115 LSA:117.5 Cam Base Circle: 19mm

Now LS1 cams have 19.7 mm base circle so the 01 LS6 cam diff is .4 mm or .016"

So that would make the TR's even better.
