Default How much can a stock bottom end handle?

I have a 01 T/A M6 w/ Lt's, lid and an exhaust and I am getting a head/cam package. I wanted to know how much rwhp can a stock bottom end handle. With the head/cam package and a few other bolt on I am hoping to be between 430-460 rwhp.

All i can say is good luck breaking a stock crank. Darn near impossible from what i hear. As for the rest of it it should be ok. Of course everyone is gonna recomend going with ARP rod bolts and main studs to help. I can't really give an estimate on the RWHP a stock obttom end can handle but I have personally seen a 99' stock bottom end with heads, cam, all possible bolt ons and a 150 shot. W/out bottle he was running around 465 RWHP. It held up fine till he up'd the shot. So it's up to you on the bottom end but i say it'll be fine (FOR A WHILE)

Just don't be sad if you have to buy a new forged bottom end down the road.

ICON AUTOSPORTS Shop car made it to a 300 wet shot. Ran forever on a 250. and blew up on a 350. Hope that helps. H/C car.

Tuning is the key. There's a good handful of us in here running stock bottom ends with a shot of gas and doing ok. See sig for ET... H/C, bolt ons, 150 shot.

Here in the land of Down Under (Australia) we have several Twin Turbo and Vortex S/c with stock bottom end producing 700+rwhp and N/A with 450+rwhp.
