Another cam question Hey guys, new to the site, i have a basically stock 98 Z28 (see sig) i was wanting to know if you can tell me the best cam for it. it is an a4 with stock converter right now. i was thinking of the hot cam or the zo6 cam. i want a little bit of a lope nothing to extreme. help me out. she is my daily driver so keep that in mind , just want more power. looking for a finished power level of around 400 -450 RWHP .i will be doing heads in the future also.i just want something for now until i get the money for the head upgrade

Re: Another cam question The Z06 cam won't give you any lope at all, idles like stock. The Hot cam will give you one he11 of a lope, extreme I would say unless you jack the idle up pretty high. I'd say the try the T1 or C1 MTI cams. But with your automatic anything with a lope is going to be a pain unless you put a high-stall torque converter in.
